Event: Year 12 Formal

The Year 12 Graduation Dinner will be held at Allegro, 1 Porters Road, Kenthurst, 6pm arrival for a 6:30pm start & will conclude at 9:30pm. Parents & Caregivers are most welcome to be at Allegro's for the students' arrival & to take photographs.

Students, parents & caregivers need to be aware that the venue is both smoke-free & alcohol-free. 

The formal is a Department of Education function & as such the consumption of alcohol & the smoking of cigarettes/vapes are strictly prohibited. Students who are deemed to be intoxicated at the formal will be escorted from the venue & their parents will be contacted to collect them. 

STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Attendance at the Year 12 formal is by invitation only. Students must have consistently demonstrated the Galston High School values of Respect, Responsibility & Personal Best. This includes:

1. Wearing full school uniform at all times.
2. Completion of all requirements for the Higher School Certificate.
3. Excellent attendance and
4. Behaviour record.

ORGANISATION FOR PICK UP FROM THE FORMAL

Parents are requested to collect their children at 9:39pm from the venue. Students will only be release into the care of their parents or caregivers, unless alternate arrangements are made prior to the event & in writing to the Year Adviser.

PAYMENT OF FORMAL TICKETS

Cost: $140 - Pricing includes: Canapes, 2 course dinner, 2 mocktails, security & DJ

Tickets will go on sale from Week 5 in Term 3. Students may pay in full or via a payment plan. Tickets must be paid in full before the Formal date. Tickets will not be available to purchase until all of the above requirements are met, including all financial contributions (subject fees) must have been paid in full. Final payment date is Tuesday 6th September 2023. No other payments accepted after this date.
