What is Mathspace?
Mathspace brings all a variety of learning tools together in one place, from video lessons, textbooks, to adaptive practice. Mathspace encourages students to become self-directed learners.
Students can show their work and get scaffolded hints and video lessons along the way, no matter how they solve the problem. They can also access standards-aligned lessons which include videos and hands-on GeoGebra applets.
Which subjects do I use Mathspace for?
Galston High School provides free access to Mathspace for all Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 students. Mathspace is used in Mathematics, with one lesson per week devoted to completing Mathspace activities in class. Mathspace also forms part of every Mathspace students homework routine, with tasks assigned each week.
How do I log in to Mathspace?
Every Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 student has a Mathspace account and should already have activated and be using it.
Their username is their school email address (i.e. “john.smith”@education.nsw.gov.au) and their password is user-set. If students have lost or forgotten their password, they can reset it via the link below:
