Principal's message

Galston High School is proud of its strong reputation as an outstanding school with strong links to its community. This reputation is built upon the quality of our curricular and extra-curricular activities on offer, our strong values and traditions and the wonderful achievements of our students and staff.

At Galston High School, we are committed to delivering quality education to develop the academic capability and individual talents, interests and abilities of our students. Learning is enriched through exceptionally active sporting, debating, creative and performing arts programs that provide opportunities for students to achieve personal excellence.

I am excited by the commitment, professionalism and collaboration pursued with vigour by all members of our school community. Galston High School is committed to providing an outstanding, whole-person, student-centred education. We offer every student the opportunity to excel and to achieve their personal best through outstanding teaching and learning practices in a safe and supportive environment for all students.

Galston High School cultivates and instils within students the lifelong values of respect, responsibility and personal best with an emphasis on embracing diversity in all contexts. We expect our students to develop self-discipline in the pursuit of their dreams and aspirations and to take pride in their achievements throughout their high school years. We envisage that our students will become visionary leaders of their generation and in an increasingly globalised world. Throughout their time at Galston High School, we believe that their experiences will enable them to achieve their full academic potential as they grow into responsible, articulate, well-adjusted, caring and successful young adults.

Galston High School is an invigorating, exciting and innovative school; a place where students find their niche and a place where students want to be. Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. I invite you to like our Facebook page so that you can stay in touch with our school.
