Term 4 - Year 12 Student Return

NSW Health and NSW Department of Education have advised that schools need to continue with guidelines for Year 12 accessing school site for necessary curriculum completion.

Updated Year 12 timetables effective from Tuesday 5th October until Friday 15th October 2021 are available here.

Weeks 1 & 2 - Learning from home - STUVAC period (Tue 5 Oct - Fri 15 Oct)

The current advice (remains) from NSW Health and NSW Department of Education is that 'parents must keep children - of all ages, across primary and secondary schooling and early childcare - home if they can. Students will be supported to learn from home'. 

Year 12 teachers will advise their classes of how they will run classes for revision for Weeks 1 to 2. Students are to refer to the main communication page on eLearning platforms for specific class details.

Weeks 3 & 4 - Learning at school (Mon 18 Oct - Fri 29 Oct)

Following the current timetables published, Year 12 classes will be onsite as per NSW Department of Education guidelines (Monday to Thursday only, Friday catch up day remains in place)

All Year 12 teachers will be onsite for revision with their class. No Learning from Home will occur for Year 12 students. Year 12 teachers will place revision task on the eLearning platform.

Week 5 - STUVAC period (Mon 1 Nov - Fri 5 Nov)

STUVAC private study for students at home. Class teachers will be available if students request assistance onsite.

Week 6 - STUVAC period (Mon 8)

STUVAC private study for students at home continues on Monday 8th November. No formal classes at school or at home - students' private study only. Class teachers will be available if students request assistance. HSC begins Tuesday 9th November.


Term 4 - Years 7-11 Student Return

NSW Health and NSW Department of Education have changed advice in relation to students returning to schools in Term 4 2021. 

Weeks 1 to 3 Term 4 - Learning from home (Tue 5 Oct - Fri 22 Oct)

The current advice (remains) from NSW Health and NSW Department of Education is that 'parents must keep children - of all ages, across primary and secondary schooling and early childcare - home if they can. Students will be supported to learn from home'. 

Students will continue to follow the modified learning from home timetable until Friday 22nd October. The learning from home timetables are available here.

Week 4 onwards - Return to school (Mon 25 Oct)

All students will return to learning at school on Monday 25th October 2021.

From Monday 25th October 2021 students will be at school five days a week following their normal timetable. No learning from home will occur for students from Monday 25th October 2021.

Please note, there have been some changes to the normal timetable since the end of Term 2. Timetables will be synced to the Sentral student and parent portal on Friday 22nd October, accessible after 9am. Students will be given a hard copy of this timetable first thing on Monday 25th October.


Face Masks

Currently, the advice from NSW Health and the Department of Education that students in Years 7 to 12 are required to wear face masks indoors and outdoors in schools.

Students with medical exemptions for mask wearing are required to provide the school with medical certificates indicating this medical requirement so plans can be put in place to support them.

School Buses

School transport bus routes will begin Monday 18th October 2021.

NSW Transport requires that all students have a valid Opal card to travel on school buses and they must tap on and off morning and afternoon.

Until further notice, face masks on Public Transport, including travel to and from school, are mandatory.

Canteen

The school canteen will be fully operational from Monday 25th October 2021.

Students must follow the Covid safe procedures that will be in place to ensure the canteen is not jeopardised/closed.

Uniform Store

Under the current NSW Health guidelines, school uniform shops are not open.

Orders will be processed and left at the office, and you will be notified when they are ready for pick up.

Please ring the office from the bus bay when you arrive, and your order will be brought to you.
