Open Day 2022 is a Covid-safe event, with social distancing and contact tracing enforced. Persons who are unwell with Covid-19 symptoms are request not to attend.
It is recommended you arrive at Galston High School 30 minutes prior to complete, ready for commencement at 9.30am in the school hall.
On Open Day, you will have the opportunity to hear from the principal on why poterntial starts with Galston High School, tour the school escorted by our student leaders, view our facilities and ask questions.
The day will conclude at approximately noon with light refreshments from the school cafe outside historic Waddell Cottage (weather permitting).

My child is not yet in Year 6. Can I attend Open Day? Is it only open to parents of Year 6 students?
We welcome families planning for their child's high school transition into the coming years, whether that be for next year or beyond.
Do I need to register to attend?
Yes. Open Day is a Covid-safe event and the school requires contact details and numbers for planning/tracing.
I live outside the Galston High School drawing area. Can I attend?
Yes, you can attend. Attendance at Galston High School is determined by the Department of Education's enrolment policy. You can nominate to enrol your child at Galston High School if you are out of area, but each application is considered in line with the policy and school capacity. Attendance at the Open Day is no guarantee of acceptance of enrolment.
